As Christmas approaches, Wine Country is weary
for sales and the news from this year have been dreary.
But we’ve all pushed forward, not falling behind.
We’ve looked at the data, we’ve tested online
to find new consumers to share in our craft.
On Google and Meta we’ve look for a raft.
It’s made us all smarter, and more thoughtful, too.
It makes us plan out what marketing we’ll do.
Visitation is down, and so are wine clubs
the WHO calls us harmful, as if we sell drugs!
But we are getting better at attracting these guests,
Those urbanites heading outside on their quests
for a peaceful good times, to relax in the sun,
to enjoy a small slice of the lifestyle we’ve won.
Keep positive,be bold, be authentic on message.
The old rules and pretense around wine is a vestige
It’s now up to us, to set people straight.
To show them that wine is for love and not hate.
Wine can be balanced, wine can be sober.
Wine should be social – Come Over October!
Wine should be healthy, creative and fun.
Wine is for all, and connects everyone.
Through ads and campaigns, we’ll rewrite the tale,
of vineyards and vintners and shipments by mail.
We’ll harness the power of stories and charm,
to bring wine back home with its classic warm arms.
So here’s to the marketers, raising their glass,
to creative solutions and campaigns that pass.
And may all of our efforts bring cheer to the vine,
Merry Christmas to all, and a toast to good wine!
