CRV is the California Redemption Value amount that is being collected on bottles (this is expected to extend to other states in the future). The equivalent in Canada is called Deposits. This is where a small amount of money is charged for each bottle sold on an order, usually around $0.10.
To set this up in WGits QBO, go to your WGits Settings menu.
Enable the toggle in the “Enable Deposit Processing” section.
Rename it to be whatever you wish to call it, either CRV or Deposit or something else.
Lastly setup a “Service” item in QBO with a matching SKU and point this to an Other Current Liability account of your choosing (usually best to have this go to its own account).
That’s it! All CRV/Bottle Deposit amounts will go into QBO without an issue now.
