Nestled in the Texas countryside, Chapelton Winery is only an hour and fifteen minutes from Houston. Situated near the charming town of Washington, the winery boasts stunning views of rolling hills and lush vineyards. At the property, guests can tour the vineyards, take a wine and food pairing class, enjoy a tasting, or even stay in one of their villas. And, of course, the site offers eCommerce for wine sales. Yet with so many possible reasons to enter the website, we have delivered clear user paths to ensure engagement and conversion.
The architecture and design is very modern and clean, which we replicated in the website’s aesthetics. The copy was written to attract wine connoisseurs without alienating the wine curious. Surgical use of parallax scrolling and video make the site seem vibrant and alive while enhancing usability. Due to technical reasons, the eCommerce store pages are on a different server and platform than the body of the website. Still, a visitor wouldn’t know the difference as we’ve designed the transition to be seamless. We did not want to interrupt any transition to the store or give anyone pause to complete their purchase. The final site layout is modern yet warm and appealing to multiple customers and potential guests.

Parable Wines is more than just a vineyard; it’s a storyteller. Each wine in their collection tells a tale, and our challenge was to ensure that these stories were brought to life on a digital platform. We envisioned a website embodying the brand’s rich heritage, sophistication, and commitment to quality while also being a functional and engaging experience for the user. Parable Wines’ website’s design philosophy is elegance and simplicity, underscored by a narrative-driven approach. We used a minimalistic yet impactful design language with a neutral color palette that complements the brand’s identity and highlights the artistry of the wines.
